GoCyber Collective proudly invites law enforcement professionals from across Ohio and beyond to a full-day, hands-on training built specifically for those who serve and protect.

Cyber 101 for Law Enforcement is an OPOTA CPT-certified (8 assignment-based hours) workshop designed to give officers, dispatchers, administrative staff, and agency leadership a strong foundation in identifying, responding to, and reporting digital crimes.

Participants will gain real-world, practical knowledge on how to:

  • Handle crypto-related crimes, including tracing Bitcoin and responding to wire fraud
  • Navigate jurisdictional challenges in cybercrime cases involving out-of-state or international actors
  • Investigate digital threats using social media platforms and preserve evidence appropriately
  • Respond to home computer takeover scams and credit card skimmers, including nighttime scenarios
  • Understand and intervene in online child exploitation and human trafficking cases • Improve personal and departmental security with officer OPSEC strategies
  • Establish digital safety best practices across the agency
