Cyber for Supervisors in Executive Leadership

Overview: This course is designed to equip local government leaders, executives, and supervisors with the necessary insights and strategies to oversee and implement effective cybersecurity practices within their organizations. Participants will gain a better understanding of cyber hygiene, the importance of audits and regular training, insurance considerations, and relevant legislative frameworks.

Learning Objectives:

  • Recognize the significance of cybersecurity at an organizational level and the role of leadership in maintaining a strong security posture.
  • Understand and implement cyber hygiene practices across all levels of their organization.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of insurance roles and requirements in a municipality’s cyber plan.
  • Gain insight into Ohio’s House Bill 96 and its implications for cybersecurity.
  • Acquire a foundational overview of the Cyber 101 principles necessary for law enforcement and first responders.
